There is still a great shortage of Bibles and teaching materials in China, Vietnam and Laos. We find out from the believers what they need, try to locate these materials and bring them into the country.
Teams play a major part in taking these books in to the needy believers. The more people willing to carry Bibles, the more believers are encouraged and blessed. Our main store of Bibles is in Thailand. Teams fly in to Bangkok, load up and go!
Printing

We are currently
working on several different printing projects. They are as follows:
Vietnamese
children's gospel booklets
Last year we printed
10,000 copies of "The Great Wall" in Vietnamese (Jungle Dr.
series). We have just finished printing 5,000 copies of the second booklet
"Monkey in the Bog". These need to be taken in to Vietnam
by teams this year. The third booklet has already been translated. We
aim to print 5,000.
The cost will be approx $700 (only 14c per copy)
The first ever children's story book in Vietnamese (with a Christian story and teaching) has been printed. It is a full colour book and called "Nathaniel's Journey". 2000 have been printed and need to be taken in.
Vietnamese
tracts - for Malaysia!
The Malaysian government
will be bringing in 500,000 Vietnamese labourers within the next three years
(already over 80,000 have arrived). CMIAsia is part of a network that
is reaching out to these Vietnamese. Our role is to coordinate and provide
literature (tracts, Bibles, and training materials). CMIAsia has already
printed 30,000 Vietnamese gospel tracts and hopes to be able to provide
more literature throughout the year. For as little as 9c per copy you can partner with us to reach the Vietnamese!
